Summary

ChatTidy works entirely inside your browser. We run no server for this extension, we do not collect, receive, sell or share any data about you or your chats, and we include no analytics, telemetry, advertising or tracking.

What the extension accesses

• Your chat list and chat content on chatgpt.com, claude.ai and gemini.google.com. ChatTidy sends requests to those sites, from the page where you are signed in, using your existing session, the same way the sites' own pages do (on gemini.google.com, to the page's own batchexecute endpoint on that same host; no other Google domain is contacted). This is needed to list, delete, archive and export your chats. The responses are shown in the panel and, for exports, written to a file you download. They are not sent anywhere else. The Auto-organize feature classifies chats from their titles (and, if you tick the option, their first messages) with keyword rules inside your browser; the text is never sent to any server of ours or of a third party. The only requests it makes are the ones to the chat site itself to list your Projects, create a Project you approved and move the chats you approved.
• Folders, tags, auto-organize rules, language preference, a daily delete counter and the state of the review prompt. These are stored in chrome.storage.local on your device. They never leave the browser. Removing the extension deletes them.

What we do not do

• We do not transmit chat titles, chat content, folders, tags or any identifier to CQTecnologia or any third party.
• We do not use cookies, fingerprinting or remote code. All code ships inside the extension package.
• We do not read pages other than chatgpt.com, claude.ai and gemini.google.com.

Payments and licensing

This version has no payment and no license key, so nothing is sent to a license service. If a paid tier is added, we will update this policy before it takes effect.

Permissions

• storage: save your folders, tags, preferences and counters locally.
• Host access to https://chatgpt.com/*, https://claude.ai/* and https://gemini.google.com/*: run on those sites and call their chat endpoints with your session.

Your control

You can delete any chat data in the extension at any time, clear folders and tags, or uninstall the extension to erase everything it stored.

Third parties

ChatTidy is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic or Google. Your use of ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini remains governed by their terms and privacy policies. Automating actions on those sites may be restricted by their terms; you are responsible for using ChatTidy on your own account in line with them.
